Today marks a very special day for Family Promise of Southern Delaware as we celebrate our first anniversary of serving our community. It has been an amazing journey filled with compassion, resilience, and most importantly, life-changing impact.
Over the past year, we have worked tirelessly to prevent homelessness and provide vital support to those in need. Thanks to the unwavering dedication of our Board, volunteers, and supporters like you, we have been able to make a real difference in the lives of 75 families.
Together, we have provided safe and stable housing for families facing eviction, helped individuals secure employment opportunities, offered financial assistance, and delivered essential resources to those on the brink of homelessness. Each success story is a testament to the power of collective action and the profound impact we can make when we come together.
We are immensely grateful for the tremendous support we have received from our community. Whether you have donated your time, resources, or expertise, your contribution has been invaluable. You have played an integral role in changing lives and giving hope to those who need it most.
As we reflect on the past year, we acknowledge our challenges. The pandemic has brought unprecedented hardships, but it has also shown us incredible strength and resilience within our community. We are proud to have stood tall during these difficult times, adapting our services to ensure that no one is left behind.
Today, as we celebrate our one-year milestone, we recommit ourselves to our mission of ending homelessness. Our journey has just begun, and much work remains to be done. But with your continued support and the passion that drives us, we are confident that we will continue to create lasting change for years to come.
Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for being an integral part of our journey. None of this would have been possible without your belief in our cause and your unwavering support. Let us continue to stand together, hand in hand, and build a community where every child has a home.
With heartfelt appreciation,
Carolyn Ames Kelly, LMSW
